Today on the roads
All over the world, year after year, more then milion people are killed and more then 30 milion people are injured.
More or less, all the systems that are used today don't work. All the punishment in case of traffic rules violation didn't stop the horible phenomenon - car accidents.
It's time to start a new way for seeing the concept of car and driving.
My ideas
My idea is a CAPS - Car Accident Prevention System
CAPS includes:
- MCS - Main Control System
- Sensors
- Monitor (Optional)
MCS
The MCS system colects data from - Sensors that will be installed in the car Transmiters that will be on every road juction, trafficlights The MCS system will take contol in case the driver will make a mistake ( and only then) . Sensors There will be 16 sensors, one for each task. They will check:
Alcohol
System condition
Enviroment
Speed
The distance between cars
if it's safe to by-pass
Stopsign
Car priority
Road curve
Zebra crssing, pedestrain crossing
Awareness
Lane crossing
White-line
Monitor (Optional)
A monitor will show the real time condition, the driver will be worn if he will perform a bad decision. the driver will be able to shut down the monitor.

the U.S.A National Highway Safely Administration recently announced that 6.3 million vechles crashe each year involved driver distraction. With new technology being implemented in cars, more distraction exist than before. So be carefull when using care phones, car fax machines and e-mal and complex audio systems. Remember, your car's main purpose is to get you somewhere.
